It supports your spiritual awakening by aligning education with consciousness and inner (soul) development. There are different concepts about what a spiritual awakening actually is. I first heard this term explained as an experience that completely changes someone’s foundational belief system to undeniably know that the unseen world of spirit is real. Enlightened Education views our spiritual awakening as a pyramid of steps, each representing a frequency or a consciousness that eventually takes us up into the highest frequencies of liberation and Divine Creation at the top of the ascension pyramid. Spiritual awakening occurs when we move into stages and frequencies between social success and empowerment. A Personal Journey of Awakening In my early twenties, I had a spiritual experience which confirmed my belief that the soul continues to exist after leaving human form. I became more curious about spirituality, and in my spare time I read “new age” books. I called myself “spiritual” and a “good person” and felt that this was enough to get me into heaven. Slowly, the demands of life (my ego) started to take over and I felt a greater distance between God and me. I didn’t realize it at the time, but my ego was directing my life, not my Higher Self. I listened to my ego which told me that climbing the ladder of success was my life’s priority. I now see that I was in spiritual blindness and this led me to take a step down on the ascension pyramid. Years later, as I started seeking deep answers for unresolved issues in my life, I returned to spiritual education. I explored different modalities, had sessions with healers, took workshops, and signed up for courses. I learned more about spirituality, began to meditate and felt more empowered, but there was no continuity or energetic alchemy. There was nothing transformational or permanent happening within me.
